April 1, 2012

Where have you  been? Where have I been?  I have been missing all of you, my stamps, my ink pads and my card stock. I have not made time for stamping lately and here is the reason.

Well it is a long story……so I will give you the short version. Scott was feeling tired and out of breath. And since we are getting older and not in the best of shape we thought it was some what normal. He went to the Doctor in the middle of October, and many tests later we received a diagnosis. On December 23rd, Scott was diagnosed with Leukemia. What? Yes, we were in shock!!

Of course we did not want to talk about it at first and didn't want to tell anyone because that would make it real!

We have gone through many emotions…….shock, denial, guilt anger and hope.

I am finally ready to start stamping again.

So I am back as much as I can be. Scott will need a bone marrow transplant. They are looking for a donor now……… In fact if you are not signed up to be a donor. There is more information at this website. http://marrow.org/Home.aspx

Have a great day and hug those close to you, and those that aren't that close……Send them a card of course!!

Valentine Cards

January 18, 2011

I am excited to post today, I am able to sit at my desk chair and it isn't hurting. Yea!!

I hurt my back last week and I have been trying to be good and take it easy….well that was until today. I walked on the treadmill again and I am feeling better.

So I went to load some cute Valentine cards to my blog and guess what? My husband has my camera in his car. ( Yes he has his own camera!) He apparently wanted to take a picture of a car…surprise!!

So here are some cards that I have on the computer that I can share with you…you will just have to check back to see the cards I was going to share!!

Enjoy your Day!!

Holiday Gift Ideas

December 15, 2010

You still have time to make some gifts for friends for Christmas here are some easy ideas! This adorable box  was designed by Lisa Young, her website link is under the pictures. This is a box, using a big shot die. This is what I made for my downline as gifts at our Christmas party. I filled them with cocoa, and candy canes. I gave them all away, and I didn't get to take a picture of them. So I am showing you the picture that Lisa shared on Stamping Connection, she is very creative!! Check back in the next couple of days and I will have some more quick gift ideas to share….

Convention – Salt Lake City

August 6, 2009

I didn’t go to convention this year, so I have been online looking at all of the information that demonstrators are sharing.

Here are some of the items you can purchase in Momento Mall. For those that haven’t heard me talk about the mall at convention, it is a place for demonstrators to SHOP! They have different items that you can purchase with our Stampin’ Up! Logo out it. It is a lot of fun, and can be a little expensive!

Here is a cute pouch for make up, or markers.

Here are some cute water bottles that have the trendy trees on them!

Cute Sweatshirt with the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP

Here is the bag that you get when you check in that has your convention information in it and of course free stamps!

And the bag is reversible!!!
