Hostess Gift

July 29, 2010

Here is the hostess gift I gave to Lyndsey when she was the hostess last weekend. Don't you love it? Stamping on candles isn't a new idea, but I am always surprised at how pretty they are when they are done. And here is the cute die cut box I made to put it in. Want to get a cute gift? Sign up to be a hostess and you will receive a free catalog, your class fee is free and you will get a beautiful hand stamped gift from me! And if you have a party in August that has $350.00 is sales, you get an extra $25.00 in shopping dollars.

If you haven't stamped on a candle before, here are the directions: Stamp your image on tissue paper and allow to dry.

Next cut out your image as close as you can. Place it on your candle where you want it. Wrap a piece of waxed paper around your candle and heat your image with a heat gun. Heat it just long enough for the image to look wet and the tissue paper will become translucent.  That is it!

Okay, get those candles out and stamp them!!

See you next time!

July 16, 2010

I am using the Friends never fade set again. I love this designer series paper! It is so bright and pretty in person. It was not on my list until I received a swap using it, it is the Greenhouse Gala dsp. I am also sharing the card from yesterday. It was a little plain so I jazzed it up with one of our new folders for the big shot, I added some of our new pearls, and some ribbon and a punch. Now I really love this card!!

Thanks for looking, I hope you are inspired to get your stamps and and stamp!

Still not, come to a class for more inspiration……

Summer is Here

July 15, 2010

I love Summer! I love getting up and seeing the blue sky and the sunshine! When I looked out the patio window I was greeted by this pretty moth. I know it isn't a butterfly, but my picture doesn't due justice, he ( or she) is biggest moth I have every seen and pretty cool looking.

As promised here are a couple cards that you will be making if you come to a class in July. These two cards were inspired by demonstrators – Coffee Cup – Erica Cerwin. Pinkbuckaroodesings.  And Just Believe was inspired by Dayanna Donng.

The first card is using a great new stamp set Morning Cup. We have needed a new coffee and tea stamp set. This one is cute!

The next card is using the stamp set Just Believe and I earned it FREE for my Sale-A-Bration sales! I love this set, it has so many possibilities! You will see a lot of ideas with this set.

Both cards are using some new colors. What do you think?

I am off now to finish getting ready for the Ronald McDonald House. I am going up today to spend the afternoon with Karen and Bonnie at University Village and then we will stamp with the families that are at the Ronald MCDonald House.

Enjoy Your Day!
